Hi math gurus! I am about two weeks through the semester, and getting a bit worried about my course work. I just don’t seem to understand the stuff I am learning, especially things to do with putting math formulas into your ti-84. Could somebody out there please lend a hand with gcf, converting decimals and slope. I can’t afford to get a tutor, but if anyone knows about other ways of improving topics like difference of squares or graphing function without fuss, please drop me a line Thanks heaps |

That’s exactly the kind of problem I had faced. Can you elaborate a bit more on what your problems are with putting math formulas into your ti-84? Yes. Getting an inexpensive teacher suitable to your wants is somewhat not easy these days. But even I went on to do roughly all the things that you are doing now. But then, my search was over when I realized that there are a number of programs in algebra. They come at an affordable price too. I was actually excited with it. May be this is just what you need. What do you think about this? |

1.Hey mate, you are on the mark about Algebrator! It is absolutely fab! I downloaded it recently from http://www.mathfraction.com/fabulous-fractions.html after a magazine recommended it to me. Now, all I do is type in the problem from my text book and click on Solve. Bingo! I get a step-by-step solution to my math problem. It’s almost like a tutor is teaching it to you. I have been using it for three months and so far, haven’t come across any assignment that Algebrator can’t solve. I have learnt so much from it! |

difference of squares, point-slope and graphing equations were a nightmare for me until I found Algebrator, which is really the best math program that I have ever come across. I have used it through several algebra classes – Basic Math, Intermediate algebra and Intermediate algebra. Just typing in the algebra problem and clicking on Solve, Algebrator generates step-by-step solution to the problem, and my math homework would be ready. I truly recommend the program. |

I would love to try this thing if it can actually help me learn math quickly. I like maths, but after the work, I don’t have any energy left in my body to solve questions. |
