Hi math gurus! I am about two weeks through the semester, and getting a bit worried about my course work. I just don’t seem to understand the stuff I am learning, especially things to do with putting math formulas into your ti-84. Could somebody out there please lend a hand with gcf, converting decimals and slope. I can’t afford to get a tutor, but if anyone knows about other ways of improving topics like difference of squares or graphing function without fuss, please drop me a line Thanks heaps

That’s exactly the kind of problem I had faced. Can you elaborate a bit more on what your problems are with putting math formulas into your ti-84? Yes. Getting an inexpensive teacher suitable to your wants is somewhat not easy these days. But even I went on to do roughly all the things that you are doing now. But then, my search was over when I realized that there are a number of programs in algebra. They come at an affordable price too. I was actually excited with it. May be this is just what you need. What do you think about this?

1.Hey mate, you are on the mark about Algebrator! It is absolutely fab! I downloaded it recently from http://www.mathfraction.com/fabulous-fractions.html after a magazine recommended it to me. Now, all I do is type in the problem from my text book and click on Solve. Bingo! I get a step-by-step solution to my math problem. It’s almost like a tutor is teaching it to you. I have been using it for three months and so far, haven’t come across any assignment that Algebrator can’t solve. I have learnt so much from it!

difference of squares, point-slope and graphing equations were a nightmare for me until I found Algebrator, which is really the best math program that I have ever come across. I have used it through several algebra classes – Basic Math, Intermediate algebra and Intermediate algebra. Just typing in the algebra problem and clicking on Solve, Algebrator generates step-by-step solution to the problem, and my math homework would be ready. I truly recommend the program.

I would love to try this thing if it can actually help me learn math quickly. I like maths, but after the work, I don’t have any energy left in my body to solve questions.

This one is actually quite unique. I am recommending it only after using it myself. You can find the information about the software at http://www.mathfraction.com/addition-of-fractions.html.
