I have a solution for you and trust me it’s even better than buying a new textbook. Try Algebrator, it covers a pretty comprehensive list of mathematical topics and is highly recommended. With it you can solve various types of problems and it’ll also address all your enquiries as to how it came up with a particular solution. I tried it when I was having difficulty solving questions based on maths worksheets highest common factor and I really enjoyed using it.

It is good to know that you wish to improve your math and are taking efforts to do so. I think you should try Algebrator. This is not exactly a tutoring software but it offers solutions to math problems in a very descriptive manner. And the best thing about this product is that it is very user friendly. There are a lot of demos given under various topics which are quite useful to learn the subject. Try it and wish you good luck with math.

A extraordinary piece of math software is Algebrator. Even I faced similar difficulties while solving proportions, perfect square trinomial and system of equations. Just by typing in the problem workbookand clicking on Solve – and step by step solution to my math homework would be ready. I have used it through several math classes - Algebra 1, Pre Algebra and Remedial Algebra. I highly recommend the program.
